Job Summary
Leidos Engineering is looking for an Associate Substation Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team in Portland, Oregon. This position focuses on the design of civil and structural elements for substation projects, playing a key role in the engineering process to ensure effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and analysis of structural components for substations.
- Contribute to civil engineering efforts in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards in all designs.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize design solutions.
- Assist in preparing documentation for bids and project proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in structural engineering, particularly in substation design.
- Familiarity with engineering software and design tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
