Job Summary
The Staff Audiologist plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive diagnostic audiology services, which includes assessing hearing capabilities and overseeing the selection and fitting of hearing aids. This position also entails involvement in clinical research, mentorship of students, and oversight of cochlear implant programming for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full-spectrum diagnostic audiology assessments.
- Fit and dispense hearing aid devices to patients.
- Engage in clinical trials and research initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor audiology students.
- Manage cochlear implant programming for patients.
Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a valid Audiology License in New York State.
- Preferred experience of three to five years in a related field.
- Strong organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
