Job Summary
The Auto Body Technician is responsible for assessing and repairing damaged vehicle body components to restore them to their original condition. This role involves working on various aspects of vehicle body repair, including collision damage repair, part replacement, and refinishing to achieve high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle damage and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform body repairs and adjustments as required on various vehicles.
- Replace or repair damaged body parts and components.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure a high standard of workmanship and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of automotive body repair techniques and technologies.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in bodywork.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in auto body repair is preferred.
