Job Summary
The Automation & Controls Specialist is responsible for developing work instructions pertaining to electrical and control systems. This role also encompasses providing support for production by troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during manufacturing. Furthermore, the specialist will document the build processes and enhance the transition from design stages to the deployment of completed hardware in real-world settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain work instructions for electrical and control systems.
- Assist in production by diagnosing and resolving manufacturing challenges.
- Document build processes to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Optimize the transition from design to operational hardware.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with electrical or data acquisition systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in control system design.
- Physical capability to work at heights of up to 500 feet and in various environmental conditions.
