Job Summary
The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 is tasked with overseeing the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Omnicell pharmacy automation systems at client locations. This role is essential in ensuring that medication inventory levels are optimal while offering proactive, solution-focused assistance to pharmacy personnel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Omnicell pharmacy automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with automation systems at customer sites.
- Ensure optimal levels of medication inventory.
- Provide proactive support to pharmacy staff, addressing any concerns or needs related to automation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- An active state pharmacy technician license must be held.
- National CPhT certification is mandatory.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in hospital pharmacy automation.
