Job Summary
This role involves offering non-medical in-home assistance to senior clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs and preferences. The primary focus is on enhancing the well-being and comfort of clients through various personal care and household tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication reminders to clients to ensure adherence to their prescribed schedules.
- Assist with mobility and personal care, enabling seniors to maintain their independence.
- Support clients with designated exercise routines to promote physical health.
- Help with grocery shopping and meal preparation, taking dietary needs into account.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Adhere to and follow each client’s care plan meticulously.
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in a client’s condition promptly.
- Respond effectively and responsibly in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in caregiving, demonstrating a hands-on understanding of client needs.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to and from clients’ residences.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States.
- Strong reliability and commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Physically capable of performing required tasks and responsibilities.
- Knowledgeable about general housekeeping, cooking practices, and dietary restrictions.
