Job description
Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Nurse (RN) position is focused on providing quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective delivery of services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental and emotional health.
- Implement and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of mental health treatment modalities.
