VP/Radiology CMO
Location: Orlando, Florida | On-site | Full-Time
Salary: 650k-700k, 30% Bonus
Relocation: Full Executive-Tier Suite Provided A large, mission-driven, multi-state healthcare system is seeking a Vice President & Radiology Chief Medical Officer (VP/Radiology CMO) to provide statewide physician leadership across Florida. This executive physician will work closely with the Radiology Vice President to align clinical strategy, operations, quality, innovation, and growth across multiple markets. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide initiatives while maintaining a focus on physician leadership and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide statewide clinical leadership and strategic direction for radiology
- Partner in shared leadership with administrative counterparts to align clinical, operational, and financial priorities
- Lead clinical integration, quality outcomes, safety, and evidence-based standards
- Support market expansion, access optimization, and workforce planning
- Recruit, engage, and develop physicians and APPs; strengthen leadership pipelines
- Advance innovation and digital health initiatives, including AI-enabled tools
- Enhance the patient journey and statewide radiology brand
- Represent the organization in national societies, academic, and industry partnerships
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- ABR Board Certified in Radiology
- Minimum 3 years of progressive physician leadership experience
- Experience leading within large, matrixed health systems
- Demonstrated success in collaborative physician-administrator leadership and cross-market collaboration
- Eligibility for Florida medical licensure at time of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, MHA, MPH, or similar advanced degree
- 5+ years of senior physician leadership experience
- Experience with clinical innovation, digital health, or academic partnerships
- Active Florida medical license
