Job Summary
The BIM Designer will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) that facilitate the design and construction process. This position requires a thorough understanding of architectural and engineering specifications to enhance project outcomes through effective modeling practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure interoperability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality assurance procedures to validate the accuracy and completeness of BIM data.
- Assist in the integration of various software tools and platforms used in the BIM process.
- Participate in regular project meetings to provide updates and resolve any modeling issues.
Qualifications
- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles and construction documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Relevant degree or certification in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
