Job description
Job Summary
The BIM Designer in Charlotte will be responsible for creating and managing detailed building information models (BIM) to support various projects. This role requires a keen eye for design and a strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the design process.
- Assist in the creation of design presentations and documentation.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts within the model.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices related to BIM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong visualization skills and an understanding of construction documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred, with knowledge of various project types.
