Job description
Job Summary
The BIM Designer will be responsible for leveraging Building Information Modeling technologies to create, modify, and manage digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of buildings. The designer will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient design processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to enhance design accuracy.
- Conduct clash detection to identify and resolve design issues early in the process.
- Provide support in generating project documentation and specifications.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on BIM best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Revit and other BIM software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of building design principles and construction methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualizations.
