Job description
Job Summary
The BIM Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the integration and management of Building Information Modeling technology within the organization. This position involves collaborating with various teams to enhance design and construction processes through effective management of BIM resources and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM standards and protocols.
- Coordinate BIM activities across different project teams and ensure alignment with goals.
- Provide training and support to personnel on BIM tools and workflows.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM applications and processes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to BIM practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in BIM software and technologies, such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or similar role within the AEC industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to BIM.
