Job Summary
The Bridge Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design and analysis of bridge structures, ensuring their safety, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to produce innovative engineering solutions that meet client requirements and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis and design of bridge components.
- Create detailed engineering plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to establish project goals and timelines.
- Ensure all designs comply with national and local codes and regulations.
- Evaluate and implement innovative materials and construction methods.
- Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve design issues.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for project proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Proven experience in bridge design and structural engineering.
- Strong knowledge of relevant engineering software and design tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
