Job Summary
The Business Banker plays a pivotal role in nurturing and growing a portfolio of medium-sized commercial clientele by fostering relationships and proactively identifying business opportunities. This position involves performing credit assessments, organizing loan structures, and promoting banking products to achieve set revenue and expansion targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of medium-sized commercial clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive engagement.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess client lending needs.
- Structure loan agreements to align with client requirements and risk assessments.
- Cross-sell a range of banking products to meet the financial needs of clients.
- Work towards achieving revenue and growth objectives for the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in credit-related lending roles.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate credit performance and business potential.
- Excellent business development and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in managing client relationships effectively.
