CVOR RN
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay: Up to $72/hr The CVOR RN specializes in caring for patients undergoing cardiac and major vascular surgeries. These surgeries may include open-heart procedures, bypass surgeries, valve replacements, transplants, aneurysm repairs, and other complex cardiovascular operations.
CVOR RN Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preoperative assessments and verify patient identity, procedure, consent, allergies, and site/side marking.
- Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, equipment, implants, and instruments.
- Coordinate communication among the surgical team, anesthesia, and support staff.
- Maintain patient safety and advocate for proper positioning, padding, temperature regulation, and infection control.
CVOR RN Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (OH or Compact)
- 2 recent years of CVOR RN experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required
