CardioVascular Tech
Mount Vernon, Ohio
$40-50/hr (Sign-On Bonus Available)
4-10 hour shifts
The CardioVascular Tech is responsible for obtaining and interpreting data through ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies, focusing on carotid duplex evaluations, peripheral vascular Doppler, transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiograms, as well as exercise cardiac imaging.
Key Responsibilities of the CardioVascular Tech:
- Evaluates patients and conveys a summary of findings to the physician. Utilizes independent judgment and systematic problem-solving techniques to generate high-quality diagnostic information, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
- Engages and collaborates effectively with members of the healthcare team.
- Complies with organizational policies and procedures, regulatory/accreditation standards, and professional practice guidelines.
Requirements for the CardioVascular Tech:
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility for current registry in echocardiography or vascular technology.
- Preferred credentials include RVT, RCS, RDCS, or RDMS.
- Must hold a current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification.
- Willingness to be available for On Call duties.
