Job Summary
The Caregiver plays a pivotal role in providing essential support and assistance to individuals who require help due to age, illness, or disability. This position is focused on enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering physical, emotional, and social support. The caregiver will be responsible for fostering a safe and nurturing environment while attending to the daily needs of those they care for.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
- Administer medication and assist with health monitoring as needed.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or events.
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers regarding care needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.
- Compassionate nature and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
