Job Summary
The caregiver is responsible for providing essential support to clients by assisting them in their daily living activities. This role involves not only hands-on care but also effective communication with family members regarding ongoing care requirements, fostering a collaborative environment with the care team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping.
- Support clients with personal hygiene needs to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients’ families about their care requirements.
- Work in partnership with other care staff to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months professional experience in caregiving.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- An HCA license is also preferred for this position.
