**Job Title: Case Manager**
The Case Manager is responsible for evaluating medical records to assess the necessity of patient admissions and ongoing stays, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance resource efficiency. This position also oversees the financial approval process for stem cell transplant patients, which includes securing authorizations and advising patients regarding their insurance coverage. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in case management, utilization management, and an understanding of federal and state insurance regulations. Proficiency in reviewing clinical documentation is essential, along with excellent communication skills to support patient care and ensure financial compliance.
