Job description
**Certified Medical Assistant**
The Certified Medical Assistant plays a vital role in assisting healthcare providers by getting patients ready for examinations, taking vital signs, and recording information in the Electronic Health Record. This position also involves conducting laboratory tests, aiding in minor surgeries, and managing front office functions such as appointment scheduling and billing. Candidates should have a Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited body and a high school diploma or its equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred, and proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
