The Certified Medication Aide plays a crucial role in administering prescribed medications following physician guidelines and ensuring accurate documentation of all medication given. This position involves overseeing medication supplies and closely monitoring individuals for any indications of illness or injury that may necessitate medical attention. Applicants should possess a CMA certification; however, training options are available for those lacking this certification. A current driver’s license is mandatory, and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
