Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in the healthcare team, providing essential support to patients and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position involves assisting with daily living activities and promoting patient well-being under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
- Support mobility by helping patients move safely within their environment.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education as needed.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
