Job Summary
The pharmacy technician plays a vital role in supporting the pharmacist with various tasks such as prescription processing, data entry, and product dispensing, all while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. This position also involves delivering high-quality customer service and conducting health and wellness screenings as authorized by law.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in processing prescriptions and entering data efficiently.
- Dispense pharmaceutical products with accuracy while following regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing their needs and inquiries professionally.
- Conduct health and wellness screenings in accordance with applicable laws.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Possession of a current registration, certification, or license as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
