Job Summary
The Certified Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in medication dispensing, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a dedicated individual who is thorough, accurate, and committed to supporting patient care through effective pharmacy practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescribed medications.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring medications and supplies are well-stocked.
- Provide support to patients by answering questions and offering information regarding medications.
- Assist in maintaining pharmacy records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in operational activities to enhance pharmacy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must be a certified pharmacy technician accredited by a recognized organization.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.
