Job Summary
We are looking for a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Hudson, Florida. This role is essential in safeguarding patient safety by ensuring that all surgical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use. You will play a critical part in supporting surgical teams by maintaining a seamless flow of sterile supplies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all surgical instruments are meticulously cleaned, sterilized, and correctly stored.
- Collaborate with OR staff to assemble and prepare surgical instrument sets.
- Manage inventory effectively, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols in handling sterile items.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician.
- Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety guidelines.
- Excellent teamwork skills and effective communication abilities.
