Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technician plays a vital role in healthcare settings, primarily assisting in surgical operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for surgeries.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operations by providing necessary instruments and support.
- Maintain sterile conditions in the surgical environment throughout procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments with precision and ensure their proper care and sterilization.
- Help with patient preparation, including positioning and draping, prior to surgery.
- Monitor patients’ conditions during the surgical process and provide assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is required.
- Completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent training.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
