Job Summary
Bayonet Point Hospital, located in Hudson, Florida, is on the lookout for a Certified Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) to enhance our surgical support teams. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth and sterile environment during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Gather and set up surgical instruments and supplies needed for operations.
- Prepare and maintain sterile tables to support surgical procedures.
- Assist in positioning patients on the operating table while adhering to sterile practices.
- Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Vigilantly maintain infection control standards throughout surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced operating room environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with medical teams.
