Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an opening in Vermont. This position is situated in a community-centered hospital that offers a variety of healthcare services, including preventive, diagnostic, acute, and rehabilitation care. Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgical team in preparing for and performing surgical procedures.
  • Ensure the operating room is sterile and organized before, during, and after operations.
  • Manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently throughout the surgical process.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Provide support for patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
  • Document pertinent information in accordance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from an accredited organization.
  • Prior experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
