Job Summary
We are excited to announce a new opening for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) at an acclaimed health system located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position requires an onsite presence and involves supporting a range of services, including medical and surgical care, critical care, and maternity care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of the surgical environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide support during surgical procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate efficiency and safety in all operations.
- Participate in the sterilization and care of surgical instruments.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program or equivalent military training.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate well with medical staff.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
