Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our healthcare team in Coastal Oregon, specifically in the region around Coquille. This full-time position involves direct involvement in surgical procedures, ensuring that a sterile environment is maintained in the operating room (O.R.) and supporting physicians and patients throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Establish and uphold a sterile field in the operating room during surgical procedures.
- Assist physicians by providing necessary instruments and materials during surgeries.
- Prepare patients for transport out of the operating room post-surgery.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Previous experience in surgical settings may be preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards in patient care.
