Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in providing vital intraoperative care to surgical patients in our facility located in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. This role requires expertise in maintaining aseptic conditions and efficient handling of instruments within the fast-paced operating room environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance of sterile fields during surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team with instruments and supplies as needed.
- Support the surgical team in providing safe and effective patient care.
- Monitor and manage the flow of instruments during operations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate an efficient surgical process.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
- Experience in a surgical setting preferred, demonstrating ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and their proper use.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.
