Job Summary
The Chief of Staff is tasked with spearheading the Business Operations & Strategic Engineering Management Team, establishing a connection between executive goals and engineering practices. This role is pivotal in formulating strategies, overseeing processes, enhancing business performance, and fostering a strong cultural framework throughout global hardware engineering endeavors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the Business Operations & Strategic Engineering Management Team.
- Align executive objectives with engineering execution to ensure cohesive operations.
- Develop and implement strategic processes to enhance performance and governance.
- Promote a positive culture within the engineering community, supporting team collaboration.
- Oversee business performance metrics and drive improvements across all engineering functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals in hardware engineering.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is required.
- More than 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in automotive hardware engineering.
- Strong knowledge of design and release (D&R) processes and reliability standards.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional teams effectively.
