Job Summary
The Medical Director will be responsible for managing a 15-bed inpatient unit dedicated to children and adolescents, focusing on clinical evaluations and treatment for this population. Responsibilities
- Oversee the clinical operations of a 15-bed child and adolescent inpatient unit.
- Conduct clinical evaluations and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Coordinate efforts with outside psychiatric prescribers for effective treatment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a valid medical license in New York State.
- Must hold a valid, unrestricted DEA registration.
- Board eligibility or certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
