**Claims Specialist**
The Claims Specialist is tasked with overseeing the submission and timely processing of insurance and third-party claims, ensuring compliance throughout. This role involves addressing payer denials and handling pre-adjudication or follow-up activities for both facility and professional claims. Ideal candidates will possess experience in workman’s compensation and commercial claims, specifically within a healthcare revenue cycle context. A strong understanding of medical terminology, coding, and familiarity with health information systems such as Epic is highly desirable.
