Job description
**Position: Psychiatric Liaison Nurse**
The Psychiatric Liaison Nurse conducts psychiatric assessments and offers diagnostic evaluations for patients across the Scripps Health Care System. This role includes assisting patient care teams by addressing behavioral health challenges and assessing suitable care levels for patients. Applicants are required to possess a valid California RN license and BLS certification. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience in conducting psychiatric evaluations, with at least one year spent in an acute healthcare environment. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly desirable, and candidates should have a thorough understanding of California Mental Health Law and the LPS Act.
