They are also responsible for handling specimen preparation, which includes labeling and packaging, as well as overseeing the upkeep of laboratory equipment and documentation. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with phlebotomy certification or relevant experience. Familiarity with medical terminology and experience using EMR systems is desirable.
