Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at a comprehensive clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory situated near Brooklyn, New York. This position is available for both day and night shifts, offering the opportunity to contribute to essential laboratory services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and protocols to maintain quality assurance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test outcomes.
- Document and record results in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field is required.
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
