Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic by preparing the environment, assisting healthcare providers during clinical procedures, and managing documentation related to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the clinic and assist in rooming patients for consultations and examinations.
- Support providers during various clinical procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage inventory to ensure that all supplies are adequately stocked.
- Coordinate patient flow to enhance the efficiency of clinic operations.
- Deliver patient education while adhering to protocols for safety and infection control.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Nebraska.
- Preferably, two to three years of relevant experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic setting.
