Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering patient care while working under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This position involves tasks such as administering medications, carrying out treatments, and closely monitoring patients’ health status.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications as prescribed and perform necessary treatments.
- Observe and assess patient conditions, providing updates to care plans.
- Assist physicians during examinations and various procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program for licensed vocational/practical nurses.
- Possession of a valid LPN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: At least six months of experience in an acute care environment.
