CNC Machinist

$30/HR
Position Responsibilities:

• Optimize CNC work centers, set-up, and operation.
• Offer suggestions for modifying programs for increased efficiency.
• Verify completed programs by running simulations or tests.
• Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per drawings, travelers, Plant Manager.
• Notify Lead Machinist or managemet of needed tooling or fixturing.
• Program for the ability to run lights out.             
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assemble machines as needed
• Perform duties of QA tech as necessary
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proven mechanical comprehension.
• Ability to use and read measuring tools and devices as necessary for inspection of machined parts.
• Experience programming and machining on Fanuc, Haas controls.
• Work with little or no supervision throughout shift.
• Good Communication Skills
