Job description
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are kept in optimal condition. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold facility standards.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance maintenance processes.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Familiarity with various hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
