Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks aimed at ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently. This role encompasses diagnosing electrical issues, undertaking repairs, and performing preventative maintenance to enhance system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in equipment and systems.
- Execute repairs on electrical components and systems to ensure functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent electrical failures.
- Document maintenance activities and report on system statuses.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance or related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
