Job Summary
The CNC Machinist will operate and manage computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate precision components and parts. This role is crucial for ensuring that production specifications and quality standards are met while maintaining efficient workflow processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Inspect machined components for precision and adherence to specified tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC equipment and machining processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining techniques and processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
