**Job Title: Cobol Architect**
The Cobol Architect will spearhead the technical architecture and design initiatives for the Tax Modernization Program, primarily centered on transitioning legacy mainframe applications to contemporary systems. Key responsibilities encompass performance enhancement, database optimization, and working alongside stakeholders to guarantee effective system integration and ongoing maintenance. Applicants should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in COBOL, as well as expertise in IBM mainframe environments, JCL, TSO, and CICS. Additionally, at least 3 years of experience with IBM DB2 for LUW and large-scale database administration is essential.
