Job Summary
The Commercial Litigation Paralegal provides essential support to attorneys handling complex commercial litigation cases. The role involves conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation to ensure effective case management and representation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to assist attorneys in case strategy.
- Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
- Gather and organize case files, ensuring all relevant materials are readily accessible.
- Assist in trial preparation, including the creation of exhibits and witness lists.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in commercial litigation is highly desirable.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
