Job description
As the owner of the company’s compliance initiative, you will be responsible for implementing and managing compliance programs, focusing on certifications such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2, while conducting thorough risk assessments. Furthermore, you will oversee the integration of compliance measures during mergers and acquisitions and evaluate vendor security assessments to maintain a solid and audit-ready stance. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in compliance within B2B SaaS or healthcare technology environments, with a strong emphasis on HIPAA and SOC 2 standards. The ideal candidate will exhibit a self-motivated approach and possess the capability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on technical compliance controls.
