Job description
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a vital role in enhancing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety throughout production operations. This position is crucial for designing new processes and improving existing ones to boost productivity while maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for new and current products.
- Analyze workflow, assembly, and production schedules to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve production issues and optimize efficiency.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements to enhance output.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control standards.
