Job Summary
The Compounder is responsible for accurately mixing and preparing raw materials to produce pharmaceutical or chemical products. This role involves following precise formulas to ensure consistency and quality in the final products. The Compounder plays a key role in maintaining safety standards and quality control throughout the compounding process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix raw materials according to established formulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment used in compounding.
- Conduct quality checks on materials and final products to meet safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of batch production and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to identify any issues in the production process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in a compounding environment or related field.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in handling chemicals.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
