Job Summary
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. This role entails managing a range of tasks including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting tasks and resources as necessary.
- Interface with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and problem resolution.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring that all aspects are compliant with specifications and regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure work environments are compliant with health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular meetings to update teams and stakeholders about project status, issues, and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction project management with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for effective team and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
