Job description
**Job Title: Intake Coordinator**
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for overseeing incoming patient referrals, confirming insurance coverage, and collaborating with internal departments to facilitate successful medication authorization and billing processes. Additionally, this role involves offering support, training, and troubleshooting assistance to the intake team to ensure smooth operational workflows. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and have three to five years of pertinent experience in intake or medical office roles, particularly in IV or specialty pharmacy environments. A pharmacy technician license or any relevant medical certification is advantageous, in addition to being skilled in medical software and coding systems.
